How The Fuel Surcharge Is Calculated

With the volatility of diesel prices, the fuel surcharge will be based on a variable rate. The variable rate ensures the fuel surcharge reflects the reality of the market, which can shift sharply from week to week. Here is how the fuel surcharge is calculated:

[S&H Surcharge] x [Variable Rate] = Fuel Surcharge

+ The variable rate will be reviewed weekly and adjusted, up or down, as market conditions dictate.

+ The variable rate will be published by 8 am (ET) Mondays on our website.

+ The fuel surcharge is separate from the S&H surcharge and will appear as a line item on your invoice.

+ The variable rate will be applied based on order date and locked in for 30 days.
    -    If the order has not shipped and the variable rate decreases in that time period, your fuel surcharge will be based on the lower rate.
    -    If the order has not shipped within 30 days, the variable rate at shipping date will apply.
