New designs inspired by moments in nature

Posted on the 25/04/2023 by Karndean Designflooring

We are delighted to celebrate our 50th anniversary year with the launch of our extended dual format Van Gogh collection inspired by the natural world.

With beautiful new wood designs and the range’s first stone designs, our popular Van Gogh range now presents a total of 70 unique designs in a convenient choice of formats and tile sizes, including on-trend herringbone and chevron.

This unsurpassed versatility offers specifiers a whole extra level of creative freedom, from the ability to take the same design over differing subfloor conditions to incorporating interesting patterns and colour combinations.

Nine brand new wood designs have joined the Van Gogh family, from characterful Highland oaks and rustic farmhouse oaks to warm American cedars, as well as 15 stunning stone designs inspired by Breccia, Calacatta and Spanish marbles, Italian slate and antique terracotta. In addition, a number of popular existing designs are now available in a choice of gluedown and rigid core formats.

Streamlining our rigid core collections for increased clarity, convenience and design flexibility, the Van Gogh range is also set to absorb 16 rigid core designs from our Korlok range with the addition of herringbone and gluedown format options.

With an extensive range of contemporary wood and stone styles and colourways, from cool greys and calm neutrals to warm tones, this expanded collection provides endless possibilities for personalised bespoke interiors using a blend of complementary or contrasting designs and directional patterns.

Fleur Carson, commercial sales director, said: “We see design as a journey so we are always striving to improve our offering to meet the latest aesthetics of the interior design world and the evolving sustainability demands of our built environment. Inspired by the beauty of nature and materials sourced from around the world, our authentic designs have always set us apart. Our latest collection is the ultimate expression of our passion for design and quality, oozing authentic detail and elegance whilst supporting health and wellbeing.”

Whether opting for a rigid core format over uneven or drying subfloors, or creating one-off designs with gluedown, the refreshed Van Gogh range has been collated to offer unrivalled versatility in a wide range of residential and commercial settings with the durability to stand the test of time.
