The 16" Oxide slate effect tile from the Da Vinci collection contains a fiery mix of hazel, copper and rust tones to add warmth and personality to any space. The rustic tones and intricate contour details create a classic slate look that can be further enhanced by a darker feature strip.
Add Design Strips or Borders
Karndean Designflooring has a wide range of personalization options to help you achieve a unique look for your home.
Add a design strip between tiles for a natural grout effect that won’t stain or discolor. You can also use design strips as borders around the edge of your room or around a key feature, such as a fireplace or kitchen island.
Design and feature strips come in 3mm, 5mm and 10mm widths and can be requested as samples.

After visiting quarries in England’s Lake District, our design team selected pieces of volcanic slate by hand to inspire this design. The stylish, stormy gray tones of this Grey Riven Slate are versatile enough to work in traditional and modern homes, and its texture is true to the rough appearance of natural riven slate, which is split along the stone’s natural layers.
For added definition, this design has an optional matching Windsor border.
