Karndean Designflooring Challenges Guests to "See Flooring Differently" at TISE 2018

Karndean Designflooring

We are thrilled to mark the start of the 2018 show season on January 30 (through to February 1) at The International Surface Event in Las Vegas. Equipped with our expanded luxury vinyl product portfolio (including Korlok rigid core), a dedicated commercial space, and a busy demonstration schedule, we're challenging guests to “see flooring differently,” not only in terms of design, product, partnership and support, but in terms of how our philosophy will grow your business in 2018 and beyond.

2018 Surfaces Preview Travertine Design Inspiration

Travertine from Yellowstone National Park inspired our Art Select Travertine designs.

Booth #4507 will take you on a journey through the history of Karndean Designflooring, starting with where it all began in 1973 in the United Kingdom. By seeking out expressive and intriguing forms in the natural world to influence unique floor designs, and combining these features with cutting edge design, the concept of a Karndean Designfloor was born. Since 1973, we have been a family-owned business, specializing in luxury vinyl flooring, and building a reputation as a trusted leader and partner. Our product development team travels the world in search of natural inspiration to develop original product designs. One of our newest designs, Grey Riven Slate, will appear on the booth floor, right below the 300-pound piece of slate that inspired it.

Each of our three award-winning formats (gluedown, loose lay and rigid core) allow our partners to “design flooring differently.” By blending multiple products into one design, incorporating wayfinding and zoning, and the use of design components and inlays within the gluedown ranges, these capabilities enable you to create a floor that aesthetically enhances spaces while adding functionality. See the impact of designflooring throughout the booth, from the floor, to retail display boards, to a room vignette designed by Katelyn Von Tickner of sérendipité design studio.

2018 Surfaces Preview Point of Sale

Each Karndean Designflooring display board is handmade in our Pittsburgh facility.

The ability to “design flooring differently” allows retailers to “sell flooring differently.” Our point of sale display boards are designed to take the guesswork out of selling by giving a visual representation of the impact of designflooring. Our gluedown, loose lay and rigid core products will be on display at the show, including an exclusive preview of our new Knight Tile and Opus designs, scheduled to release in the spring.

By partnering with us, you are sure to see the positive impact of “purchasing flooring differently,” including stellar personalized service, quick order turnaround and low claims rates. Prospective partners can learn more from retailer testimonials and Karndean Designflooring representatives in the booth.

2018 Surfaces Preview Korlok and LooseLay Longboard

Demonstrations to show guests how to “install flooring differently” will be held on both January 30 and 31. See just how easily “Everything Clicks with Korlok” at 11 AM and 3 PM in booth #4507. Additional product demonstration and design clinics include “Increase Margin with Designflooring” at 10 AM and 2 PM, and “Minimum Installation Time, Maximum Impact” at 1 PM and 4 PM.
