With LVT standing as one of the stronger presences throughout the show, Karndean’s quality and the customizable components that showcase designflooring stood apart. The newest reclaimed and repurposed designs in our pioneering Van Gogh collection showcased some of the popular trends present throughout the show, including large format planks and gray color tones. With its rustic visuals and blend of brown and gray tones, VGW101T Salvaged Redwood is just one such example from the recently expanded collection.
Blending or mixing products also was a popular feature amongst the exhibition spaces. No floor design showcases this look better than the tremendous variation found in Karndean’s floors, where a single product seamlessly blends a range of visuals and colors to achieve a result that often requires two or three different competitor products.
The newest colors in our Da Vinci collection were a big hit as visitors were treated to a sneak preview of our upcoming designs, set to be introduced this spring. The fresh colors, open grain patterns, and slender 3” wide planks are a change of pace from many of the designs currently found in the marketplace. Stay tuned for the full introduction of these stunning designs this spring!
Design is at the heart of what we do, and the creative designs using simple tools highlighted in our booth floor are fantastic examples of the endless possibilities of our designflooring. One of our show-stopping designs showcased products from our Art Select Woods and Opus collections: the intricate, French corner design featured HC01 Dawn Oak inlaid with HC06 Midnight Oak and transitioned to a basket weave pattern using AP02 Auburn Oak parquet planks interwoven with SP115 Nero key squares. Large format, rectangular shapes were popular amongst stone designs at Surfaces. White marble was a prominent feature in kitchen and bathroom settings. Visitors to our space had the opportunity to see a beautiful example of this in LM16 Fiore. This opulent white marble design from our Art Select Stones collection is inspired by marble from the famous quarries in Tuscany.
In conjunction with the show, we’re proud to be donating $3,000 to the Wounded Warrior Project. The charity offers a variety of programs, service and events for wounded veterans of the military actions following the events of September 11, 2001.
