We’re excited that one of our floors has been featured in a “Battle for the Best Bedroom” renovation project by Jennifer Bertrand, the winner of HGTV's “Design Star” Season 3. She chose HC06 Midnight Oak from our premium Art Select Woods collection to complete a bedroom makeover for the Reeds, a Ronald McDonald House family whose young daughter underwent two open-heart surgeries.
For the project, Jennifer incorporated guidelines from Arianna Huffington’s book, “The Sleep Revolution,” to create a tranquil, beautifully designed bedroom for the family’s home. Soft lighting, comfortable new furniture, and natural décor—highlighted by stained pine planks on the walls and ceiling—were core aspects to her vision. To complete the look, she designed a calming and quiet space that offered color and life through the use of rich, dark tones. With its black hues, intricate grain details, and crafted textures, our Midnight Oak was the perfect fit.

Design for a Difference is an initiative that collaborates with interior designers and other businesses to provide makeovers for needy spaces at local charities.
