When it comes to flooring in the bathroom, it's difficult to find a product that will stand up to daily wear and tear and water. Hardwood and laminate flooring aren't ideal because they are likely to warp, expand and even crack, when exposed to water; however, our luxury vinyl tile flooring is waterproof, making it ideal for spaces susceptible to moisture. Whether you’re remodeling your master bath or a small powder room, we've pulled together some of our top tips on using designflooring to create your perfect bathroom...
Find a design that works with the space you have. Make a small bathroom feel larger with our parquet planks, which can be laid in a variety of ways, or by selecting a lighter floor to brighten up the room.

If you have a narrow bathroom, run planks the length of the room to make it feel longer. You can also add decorative borders to the space (as shown above, left) to add visual interest. If you're looking for a grouted effect, opt for our design strips in between tiles.
If you have a larger bathroom, you have plenty of options from our collection to choose from. To make the most of the space, try laying our wood look planks at a 45-degree angle or lay our large format tiles to fill out the space.
Once you consider the room’s size, think about the overall look you want to create. Is it an elegant master bath? You may want to use a marble, travertine or slate look from our Art Select Stone collection. If you want to create a vintage look, blend black and white stone looks, and if a 'modern industrial' look is what you're looking for, try one of our newer Da Vinci tiles.
You could even create a spa-like atmosphere with our Michelangelo range. With unique tactile qualities, you can easily bring that relaxing, tranquil feel into your bathroom.
No matter what type of feeling or look you want to create, we have the products to make your vision a reality! Experiment more with bathroom designs using our Floorstyle digital tool or AR App and share your creations with us on Twitter!
