We are thrilled to be named Best Flooring Supplier at the first ever Homebuilding & Renovating Awards.
Celebrating the best providers of services and products in the self-build and renovation industry, the Homebuilding & Renovating Awards were launched to coincide with the 30th anniversary of Homebuilding & Renovating magazine.
Earlier this year a shortlist of companies, products and services that demonstrate a positive impact on the lives of self-builders and renovators was nominated by a panel of industry experts. Each category shortlist was opened to public vote and the winners announced at the Homebuilding & Renovating Summer Show, held as a virtual event last month.
“Our commitment to product innovation and our partnerships with interior designers, architects and contractors are key to our ongoing success. We are honoured that our high standards of design and service have been recognised with this award and would like to thank everyone who has supported us,” explained Paul Barratt, managing director of Karndean Designflooring.
Paul said: “This year has been a challenging time for the housing industry, as well as many others, but our close relationships with interiors professionals has held us in good stead as we have all adapted to different ways of working. We are proud of the many intriguing designs we have worked on which have created comfortable interiors, improved wellbeing and supported a sense of place and belonging.”
From affordable family homes to student accommodation, retirement housing and community living, the durability and versatility of our extensive range of wood, stone and abstract flooring designs makes this the practical, hygienic choice for residential interiors.
Our commitment to offering innovative designs to complement the latest contemporary interiors has seen us introduce new collections inspired by natural stone and the trend for cool neutral grey tones. Five new limestone designs have joined our modern easy-fit Korlok range, offering an authentic interpretation of the colour tones and textures of natural limestone in a convenient click-locking tile that can be installed over most sub-floors.
Also joining our catalogue recently, six beautifully crafted oak designs in a mix of fresh, clean and neutral tones have enhanced our established Van Gogh collection, offering a versatile look and hard wearing finish for the modern home.
Paul added: “With new designs set to join our portfolio in early September that will offer interior designers contemporary designs in a wider range of format choices, we’re looking forward to working with our partners to create even more memorable and practical interiors.”
