Floor fitting course: Level 2
Our three-day fitting course is designed for experienced installers with intermediate or advanced ability looking to strengthen their design ability.
This course covers more sophisticated Designflooring techniques, incorporating design strips and borders allowing you to confidently design and install intricate LVT designs.
This is the right course for you if you are an experienced fitter looking to expand your skills and knowledge into more complex and sophisticated design techniques.
What will I learn?
Day 1
- Understanding British Standards and installation guidelines
- Overview and preparation of common subfloors
- Adhesive application
- Plank installation with perimeter border
- Tramline borders
- Mitered corners
Day 2
- Versilay installation
- 45 degree tile installation with perimeter border
- Incorporating design strips for grout effect and design borders
- Demonstration of scribing and templating techniques
Day 3
- Herringbone designs to wall and border
- Intricate areas
- Maintenance guidelines
