Art Select

Karndean Designflooring offers commercial project specifiers one of the most flexible range of design options in the contract flooring market.

Each flooring range has a variety of 3mm and 5mm design, feature and grout strips that can be used to replicate the grout of ceramic floor tiles or gaps between natural stone or wood flooring.

Design strips can also be used as borders around the edge of rooms, around key features such as reception desks and store payment zones or to edge walkways and corridors. Borders can be created as keylines, tramlines or combinations of different strip widths. Many of the 3mm and 5mm strips are also available in wider 10mm, 30mm or 76mm widths specifically for borders.

Art Select Wood Flooring
Art Select woods add real impact to your living space. Our most intricate designs have been lovingly crafted to reflect the natural materials that inspired them. We’ve designed our Art Select range to withstand the pressures of a busy household. It won’t split, splinter or warp and has a non-porous surface that’s hygienic – food and drink won’t contaminate or stain the surface. It’s easy on the eye, quiet on the ear and feels soft and warm on the feet too.

Choose from large wood planks or parquet or even combine the two for a more distinctive floor design.

Karndean Designflooring is easy and cost effective to clean and maintain. Regular mopping using 100% biodegradable surfactants is all that’s required to keep surfaces free of dirt and grime.

LVT is resistant to non-corrosive liquids and staining and resists moisture and temperature variations, resulting in no shrinkage, expanding or curling. Karndean’s grout effect design strips don’t discolour, unlike ceramic tile grout.

Should any part of the floor become damaged, the individual tile and plank format facilitates quick replacement of individual damaged tiles and wood planks.

Woodplank Designs

Create a variety of looks by experimenting with different plank layouts for a classic or contemporary scheme. We have numerous styles and sizes to choose from with our authentic large planks in Art Select, Van Gogh and Opus collections to slim and sophisticated looks in Da Vinci. 

Laying Patterns

You can arrange planks running straight down the length of a room for a simple but authentic look or for smaller rooms why not try laying your planks on a diagonal to give the appearance of a wider space.

Ships Decking Effect

If you are looking for something a bit different try adding decorative strips in between each plank which we call ships decking to really define your floor. Choose a decorative strip as a contrast to your main floor to create a feature around your furnishings or define the shape of your room.
