LooseLay Chosen as Top Pick by Builders Magazine

18 April 2012

Karndean Designflooring is proud to announce that BUILDINGS magazine has selected its LooseLay product as a 2012 Money-Saving Product. The winning product is part of an elite group of 77 products that will be showcased in the magazine’s June 2012 issue.

Finalists were based on the money-saving qualities offered to building owners and facility managers in areas such as energy consumption, water savings, lighting, envelope improvement, and maintenance.

“We are very pleased to have Karndean LooseLay selected by BUILDINGS as a 2012 money-saving product” said Michael Lang, Senior Marketing Manager for Karndean Designflooring. “Since it is not a glue-down, customers experience savings in both installation time and with the cost normally incurred for adhesive materials.”

BUILDINGS serves over 74,000 building owners and professional facilities managers in North America. The monthly publication helps readers make smarter decisions relevant to the management, modernization, and operation of their facilities.

About LooseLay Flooring From Karndean

Suited to both residential and commercial applications, Loose Lay is the latest addition to Karndean Designflooring’s line of resilient flooring products. Available in 6 plank colors selected from Karndean’s award winning Van Gogh range, LooseLay features an innovative backing system that eliminates the need for glue or click-locking and allows the weight of the flooring system to secure the floor in place on the substrate below.

Since LooseLay floors are engineered to lay flat, there is no need for rolling during or after installation. In addition, the design of the flooring system simplifies repairs — if a plank is damaged, a new section of LooseLay can be easily dropped into place. LooseLay flooring is also 100% recyclable.
