Karndean exhibits at 2012 Clerkenwell Design Week
Karndean exhibits at 2012 Clerkenwell Design Week summary
We are showcasing our Opus collection and award-winning IOBAC magnetised flooring system at this year's Clerkenwell Design Week with a stand in the new Order of St. John exhibition area. The Order of St. John will house the latest in contemporary furniture and interior products, as well as featuring limited edition pieces and installations by pioneering designers and brands whose collections reflect the "principles of fine craftsmanship, high glamour and imagination."
Alongside magnetised flooring specialists, IOBAC, we are pleased to be on display amongst five other leading designers and brands who fit these criteria, including Rabih Hage's luxurious furniture made entirely of reused materials; British Design Studio, Splinter Works; and Zonatta Edizoini. Our gallery-like stand will host a bespoke design table set up for visitors to see and feel our products up close whilst coming up with their own flooring design concepts - but what's even more exciting is that all 50m² of the listed building’s marble floors will be protected by our Versilay flooring, making this exhibition space a truly spectacular showcase for Kardean Designflooring.
Besides working through design concepts with our visitors, we are also running a competition. As a company, we are inspired by natural woods and stones, but we want you to tell us what surface inspires you. Pop into the Order of St. John and fill out a competition card and in return, we'll enter you for a prize draw to win a meal for four at The Zetter Hotel's Bistrot Bruno Loubet in Clerkenwell.
The exhibition will be open from the 22nd May to 24th May, 10am–9pm, with Karndean Designflooring and IOBAC staff on-hand throughout the event demonstrating products, providing information and answering your questions. Visitors are also welcome to join us Tuesday 22nd May at 18:30 for a glass of fizz to celebrate the opening of the new Order of St John exhibition area.
